Appointment Information
Appointments may be forward booked by calling (03) 5158 0777 during opening hours or by coming in to the medical centre. Appointments may also be made online via HotDoc - view the blue buttons on this page or the 'book online' button at the top in the main page navigation.
Our patient scheduling system is flexible enough to accommodate patients with urgent, non-urgent, complex and planned chronic care, and preventive needs.
Capital Pathology operate a collection centre on Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Pathology must be taken before 12.00pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Home visits are available where appropriate. Please phone early in the day when requesting a home visit so it can be scheduled across the middle of the day.
Standard appointments are 15 minutes. Please inform reception at the time of making your appointment if you require a longer consultation due to multiple or complex medical issues.
Every effort is made to keep appointments on schedule, however emergencies or unexpected longer consultations may result in a wait time.
HOW LONG DO I NEED?
STANDARD CONSULTATION:
- 1-2 uncomplicated issues to discuss
- repeat prescriptions
- referrals to specialists
- discussion of results and ongoing management plan
LONGER CONSULTATION:
- 2 or more issues to discuss
- complicated issue
- regular health checks
- drivers licence renewal
- insurance, pre-employment or truck medicals
- if you fee you need more time with the doctor
